From GOLD-EAGLE SITE moments ago: The London Bullion Market Association...GOLD Sales (Gold1500) Apr 15, 16:03 The London Bullion Market Association just announced how much gold was 'transferred' by it in March 2009. The LBMA uses the word 'transferred' but sometimes says 'off-take' - both meaning gold sales through the the LBMA. You will be amazed how much gold was 'transferred' - 'off-taken' or sold last month. In March the LBMA handled the DAILY sales of no less than 22,200,000 ozs, which is the equivalent of 694 tonnes (32,000 is approx 1 tonne). WEEKLY SALES is about 3,470 tonnes! Let's compare this incredible gold sales vis-a-vis a benchmark. The total ANNUAL PRODUCTION of all gold mines in the world is a mere 2,600 tones. Consequently, the LBMA brokers the weekly sales equivalent to 133% of an entire years mining production...in ONLY 5 DAYS! THAT'S A WHOLE LOTTA GOLD, eh?! ************************************************** *** I've heard that 4-19 onward gold starts to explode - here's why above - I don;'t know - but Armstrong dated the date. They are taking GOLD off the market in one week what they used to do in a whole YEARS production. Nice find HS, thanks. I was holding a few months cash to help counter the deflation spiral but this is a sign that the collapse of the gold market is on the way. Next up...Backwardation.
If I could find someone to buy the UHReagles for me then I'd be cash-poor. I got rejected on my second purchase attempt. |

Do we keep forgetting price fixing no matter who has the gold?
Hyperinflation of trillions of lost dollars in the system... why am I not putting a $100 dollar bill to purchase a coke from a vending machine.... The mechanics need to fail before they lose grip.. and im sure they are betting on you losing fear in manipulated gold price and running back to fiat...age old argument....yet I buy more as I can afford!!!! :banghead: |

How do these LBMA rates compare to their normal averages over the past few months and at this time last year? That's the key piece of information that will put everything into perspective. Feb data although significant, not as alarming as it may seem? [They haven't put the March information up on the website as of yet] They actually transferred less gold daily in March (22.2 M ozs.) then they did in Feb (23.8 M ozs.)

A 9.8% gain in the average price to $943.16 contributed to a 38.5% rise in value, to a daily average of $22.4 billion. Measured year-on-year, gold statistics fell 12.8% for the number of transfers but increased 3.7% for ounces transferred and 6.1% for value. |

Sadly, (on a WAY more serious note) they (TPTB) never notified US (meaning the USA) when they cleaned out "more than half" of America's gold (281 million ounces yeah, right!) held in their TRUST (per G.A.T.A. and records via London Metals and Bullion traffic) so I don't expect too much in honesty, veracity, and frank truthfulness coming from any of the PTB. IMVHO |

China recently did say they increased their GOLD reserves in a huge percentage.
The ones with BIG bucks from around the world ACCUMULATE silently, on the sly, quietly, and give OUT a tiny bit of what they are really doing as anyone would do MUCH less a National Country, right? They are walking the gold talk and doing the gold act - bar none - and they JUST overtook Africa as the WORLD'S largest producer of gold - and since January - the world's largets producer of cars too. :5_1_120: They really beat Government Motors, :signs14: sorry, General Motors. Perhaps the bottom line is: when TPTB control the PAPER spot prices; it's a grand time to rob the gold bank and get real money for a steal (that means you too!) - especially if you are Chinese and have a LOT of PAPER fiat, right?
